Those in the know are predicting the demise of the wires connecting our electronic devices to the Internet and to each other. Within 10 years telephones, computers, handheld devices, TVs and music systems will all be connected via satellite, cellular transmission towers or small wireless communication hubs in neighborhoods, homes and offices. The prognosticators further contend that by 2010, the majority of telephones wont plug into the wall. Tomorrows cell phones wont merely place and receive calls and e-mail messages, but through technology already introduced in Japan and Europe, will bring data, music, video images and graphics to a hand set. Looks like cartoon character, Dick Tracy, was just slightly ahead of his time. While all of this sounds quite entertaining, the real challenge will be putting the technology to productive use. |
The long lasting beauty and protection for pre-engineered metal wall panel materials rests primarily in the coating system specified. Experience has shown that thermoset siliconized polyester (SP) and polyvinylidene flouride (PVDF) in combination with high quality ceramic pigmentation offers the finest in long-term performance and protection. Varco-Pruden, the worlds leader in pre-engineered metal building production, applies the SP finish over a special modified epoxy primer for outstanding performance in acid rain environments. For finishes respected for their durability, resistance to chalking and fading, and color retention, VP applies the PVDF finish over galvanized steel. VP offers the finest in color selection and finish to suit your building needs. OHarrow is an authorized VP dealer. Give us a call at (517) 764-4770 for more information. |
