Jackson Auto Dealer Opens New Facility

Art Moehn Inc., a Jackson, Michigan car dealership, recently opened its new Honda dealership on Seymour Road in Blackman Township. The dealership features state of the art communications and repair facilities, and meets the exacting requirements of Honda Inc. The colorful and unique building exterior reflects the latest Honda image. The building itself consists of an economical pre-engineered building system with a standing seam metal roof. O’Harrow’s Tim Laverock served as General Superintendent on this design/build project. The Honda dealership is located between Art Moehn, Inc.’s Chevrolet dealership and Extreme Dodge, both of which were designed and built by O’Harrow.

Don’t dig until you call MISS DIG. It’s more than just a good idea it’s the law. MISS DIG System, Inc. is a statewide one call construction safety and utility damage prevention company that has received in excess of eleven million staking requests since it opened in 1970. MISS DIG operates as a result of Public Act 53 of 1974, Protection of Underground Facilities. The law requires agencies with underground utilities in public or private easements and right of ways to, within 3 working days of notice, provide the approximate location of their utilities. The law also requires anyone excavating, tunneling, drilling or boring with power equipment or discharging explosives in public or private easements and right of ways to obtain the location of the utilities in the area before beginning work. A failure to follow the law which results in damage to underground utilities, or the relocation of the "flags" placed by the agencies, exposes the negligent party to fines, imprisonment of up to one year and civil litigation for the cost of damages.
